BOYS TOWN INSTITUTIONS (1955-2025)
BOYS TOWN HISTORY
Boys Town, Hyderabad, is a unit of the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel Educational Society, India, administered by the Province of Hyderabad. In 1955, at the invitation of the Archbishop of Hyderabad, Rev. Fr. Mark Gopu, 30 orphan children, along with three brothers from All Saints High School, Gunfoundry, Hyderabad, moved to Jahanuma, Falaknuma. With dedication and perseverance, the team toiled tirelessly to build shelters and provide technical training. An Orphanage and an Academic School were established with the mission of educating and uplifting local children.
Guided by the motto "Service to Humanity is Service to God", Boys Town has grown steadily over the past 70 years of service to children, youth, and the differently-abled. Boys Town stands as a testament to the Montfort Brothers' commitment to the upliftment and empowerment of youth. The institution has evolved into a premier centre of excellence, receiving recognition through National and State Awards.
